In this work I am telling narratives using a vocabulary of personal and cultural symbolism. Often they are like cautionary tales told to children, with archetypes and characters similar to fairy tales or myths, which played such an active role in forming my first ideas about good and evil. Now that my ideas about absolute "good and evil" have evolved, I find myself often returning to that old vocabulary of childhood to redefine how I feel about the world and what I see going on in it.
